Archer Hampson (ARHA) and Roundhouse Events today (June 22nd, 2018) launched a short promotional trailer for Roundhouse Event’s Street Feast event which will launch in August.

Shot and edited over the course of two weeks in June, the trailer provided a logistical challenge for the ARHA video team as the shoot had capture event footage before the event takes place this August (4th).

To ensure that Roundhouse Events received the kind of final product they wanted ARHA’s video team stitched together a proof of concept video using stock footage to demonstrate possible executions for the final video.

Ollie Burrows, videographer at Archer Hampson said;

“I’ve never shot a staged event before it took place, so this was a great challenge for me! To tackle that issue, we decided to approach this shoot by sketching out a vision of the final product with stock and target footage we’ve shot elsewhere.

We’re very happy this really helped our film crew and Roundhouse Events define exactly what was needed at a very early stage. And it gave us a far more specific target shot list than usual.”

Following the sign off of the target video, shoots were organised with event participants – Make Your Escape, Biddulph’s Pizzeria, The Functionals, The Post House and with Roundhouse Event’s own team to re-capture the previous target footage in their proper context.

Ollie continued “It was a real pleasure producing this quick 40-second clip for Elisha and Katie at Roundhouse events, and we can’t wait to see what the event itself has in store for us later this summer.”

Elisha Wade, Commercial Brand Manager at Roundhouse Events said;
“Working with ARHA has been an absolute pleasure. ARHA have been flexible in their approach and understood the brief entirely. I look forward to working with Ollie and ARHA in the future and would recommend them to any business.”

Derby College’s Roundhouse Events team will host their first street food festival on Saturday August 4 – bringing a tasty mix of food, themed bars, live music and much more to the iconic Roundhouse in Pride Park.

The Roundhouse Street Feast will open at 11am and continue until 9pm and tickets are available for purchase here.
